Henfield Festival of Arts 2009 - Gardens & Arts This is a trail of interesting and varied gardens and artists' houses in the village of Henfield, West Sussex. The gardens are of all shapes and sizes. A few have wheelchair access, some will be serving home-made teas, cakes or lunches, some selling plants, and some hosting music events. The artists' houses will have a wide variety of art and crafts, such as ceramics, jewellery, paintings, photography, sculpture and woodwork. New in 2009 will be a Sculpture Trail, with certain houses displaying a variety of sculptures, to celebrate the 10th anniversary and to recognise the outstanding contribution to the Festival that local artist Alison Rankin has made in that time, Entrance to all gardens is free, but voluntary donations will be gratefully received. Each year the organising committee decide on a local charity to support, and for 2009 we are delighted to have chosen: The Henfield Community Minibus The
scheme is organised and run by local volunteers for use by Henfield and
surrounding communities.
