Henfield
Festival of Arts 2010 - Gardens & Arts This is a trail of interesting and varied gardens
and artists' houses in the village of Henfield, West Sussex. The gardens are of all shapes and sizes. A few have
wheelchair access, some will be serving home-made teas, cakes or lunches, some
selling plants, and some hosting music events. The artists' houses will have a wide variety of art
and crafts, such as ceramics, jewellery, paintings, photography, sculpture and
woodwork. Entrance to all gardens is free, but voluntary
donations will be gratefully received. This year we will be supporting two main
charities, neither of which receive any government funding: The Sussex air ambulances respond to 999 calls to
deliver a medical crew to the scene of an accident and quickly transport
patients to the nearest major hospital. Link is Henfield based and run by volunteers to provide a service for
those who cannot drive. They provide transport to and from the Medical Centre
and all the local hospitals.
